De Atramentis Jane Austen
Vert Empire from J Herbin has mixed reviews over on Goulet Pens.
The ink looks like a grayish green here and that is definitely in line with what some of the commenters have to say about it. However, the swab that Goulet shows is more green that I’m showing. This could be a factor of different papers used and how things look when they are scanned.
Omas is a brand of ink that I’ve used a lot (at all?). If you’ve tried Omas, I’d love to hear your thoughts on how the inks behave. I’ll have to give this classic green a try sometime soon.
Pelikan Brilliant Green is a really nice looking bright green. I’ve not written with it yet, have you?
Sheaffer Green looks like more of a teal in this swab. I’m not loving it.
Here’s a link to the sample over on Goulet Pens so you can see what others have to say.
My goodness – two days in a row – two inks I want to try. I love the bright spring green color of J Herbin Vert Pre. Have you tried this one?
De Atramentis Mint Turquoise falls into that range of colors that I just don’t enjoy. I think this is more of a teal than turquoise – do you agree?
Diamine is one of my favorite brands of fountain pen ink and my guess is that if you love this color, you will love the ink. Unfortunately, the color isn’t to my taste – it’s really not very dark, is it?
